SAHPS mobile app

The Herd Health Planning mobile app allows farmers to record herd physical performance, health and treatment data and fulfils statutory reporting to ScotMoves+ and BCMS/CTS (British Cattle Movement Service).

The SAHPS app is linked to ScotMoves+ and the BCMS/CTS and the Animal Health Planning web based system (SAHPS), which means everything recorded using the SAHPS app can also be sent to ScotMoves+ and the BCMS/CTS and viewed on SAHPS.

Data flowing from the SAHPS app to ScotMoves+ and the BCMS (and vice versa) allows beef farmers to fulfil statutory reporting to ScotMoves+ and BCMS/CTS (births, deaths, movements) in a quick and secure way.

Data flowing from the SAHPS app to the SAHPS (and vice versa) allows beef farmers to share physical performance and other herd information with their vet in real time.

This will allow farmers and vets to collaborate closely and get better health and benchmarking information which are essential for a proactive herd health plan.

Internet is not required to record events however all data can be uploaded to SAHPS, ScotMoves+ and BCMS/CTS when Wi-Fi becomes available.
